Has your mascara gone clumpy and thick in the summer heat? Just two drops of mineral water (it must be mineral water!) worked into the applicator and your mascara has a new lease of life. Don't pump it though as this pushes air into the mascara and dries it out.

Lipstick melting in the heat? No problem, just pop them in the fridge overnight, this also applies to lip and eye pencils and nail polish. Keeping them in the fridge will keep them fresh and helps prevent nail polish from going thick.
